Reuben Crescent Bake

Ingredients:

  • 1 (14 ounces) can sauerkraut drained
  • ½ tsp Caraway Seeds
  • 1 tube Crescent rolls
  • ¾ lb. sliced deli corned beef
  • 1 large Egg white lightly beaten
  • ½ c Thousand Island salad dressing
  • 8-10 slices Swiss Cheese


Instructions:

  1. Prepare the oven and preheat to 190 degrees C or 375 degrees F.
  2. Apply cooking spray in a baking dish.
  3. Unroll a tube of crescent dough, then divide it into two. Put half of it into the prepared baking dish. Seal the edges.
  4. Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about 10 minutes or until the dough turns golden brown.
  5. Remove the dough from the oven, then add ½ of the cheese on top and spread it evenly.
  6. Add the corned beef over the cheese and spread it evenly as well.
  7. In a mixing bowl, add Thousand Island Dressing and sauerkraut, then stir until well blended.
  8. Pour the mixture on top of the corned beef layer and spread it evenly.
  9. Sprinkle the rest of the cheese on top of the sauerkraut layer.
  10. Top with the other half of the crescent roll dough. Seal the sides.
  11. Add the rest of the cheese layer over the dough.
  12. Brush egg whites over the dough, then sprinkle the caraway seeds on top.
  13. Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about 12 to 16 minutes or until the top turns golden brown.
  14. Remove from the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes at room temperature.
  15. Serve warm and enjoy!
